Please leave the doors UNLOCKED and the key in a visible area.
You are responsible for leaving the premises in an orderly and neat condition. The lease includes x hours of turnover cleaning and any hours beyond that allotment will be deducted from the security deposit. To assist the cleaners and avoid additional cleaning charges please:
Sort recyclable containers. Use clear trash bags to empty all garbage cans and place the bags and recyclables in the exterior bins in the garage.
-Tins and plastics go together in a clear bag
-Glass containers by themselves in a clear bag
-Corrugated cardboad must be flattened and large pieces must be broken down
Newspaper, magazines, cereal boxes and junk mail go in household trash for composting
If cooking smoke sets off the fire alarm, please push “reset” button at front door panel.
If still beeping, press “1,2,3 and then off”.
We recommend that you do NOT arm the burglar alarm.
FANS: each bedroom has a fan controller in one of the nightstands. Note that the fan must also be switched on via a wall switch next to main room lightswitch.
TVs: There are (4) four. Remotes in nightstand or top of coffee table
c. Downstairs Master, with full internet connectivity
d. Queen BR with tub, with full internet connectivity
3 zones: rear porch; great room, basement media room
The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and serving pieces. There is a lobster pot in
the pantry and lobster crackers/picks.
SINK DISPOSAL:
Switch is inside the cabinet. PLEASE GO VERY LIGHT ON USE OF THE DISPOSAL. Our septic tank system is simply not designed for heavy use of kitchen waste. No rinds, coffee grinds, eggshells or bones, etc. The waste and recycling center is happy to have you include COMPOSTABLE materials in your trash bag.
ICE:
Bulk ice dispenser inside the fridge door and in pull out drawer at on left hand side of basement wet bar.
PAPER PRODUCTS:
Kept in mudroom cabinets.
WINDOW SCREENS:
For aesthetic reasons, not all windows have screens, but every bedroom, and almost every bathroom has at least one window with a screen.
CLOSING FRENCH DOORS:
The French Patio doors have multipoint hardware and are only securely close after pulling up on the handle. TAKE CARE TO CLOSE ALL DOORS SECURELY, ESPECIALLY THE SECOND FLOOR DECK DOOR, AS WINDS CAN OTHERWISE BLOW THEM OPEN AND RAIN COULD CAUSE FLOOR DAMAGE.
PARTIAL INVENTORY:
1. Iron and Ironing Board – entry coat closet
2. Vacuum and broom – coat closet
3. Umbrellas – coat closet
4. Spare blankets – each bedroom has one spare cotton blanket in its closet 5. Air mattress – in basement BR closet
6. Beach Towels (10) – located in mudroom cubbies
7. Hairdryers - 1 each in upstairs and downstairs masters
